Tämä kirja on jokaisen behavioristisen taloustieteilijän, ja sellaiseksi pyrkivän, raamattu. Psykologi Danial Kahneman on saanut taloustieteen Nobelin palkinnon, vaikka ei ole opiskellut kurssiakaan taloustiedettä. Hänen uraauurtava tutkimuksensa päätöksenteon maailmassa on synnyttänyt monet käsitteet nimenomaan kognitiivisten vääristymien ja heuristiikkojen maailmassa.

 

Kirjassaan "Ajattelu nopeasti ja hitaasti" Kahneman selittää kansantajuisesti ihmisajattelun kaksijakoisuutta. Ihmiset käyttävät sekä nopeita nyrkkisääntöjä että pohdiskelevaa ajattelua päätöksenteossa ja asioiden käsittelyssä.
